Local Printing - reinstall Java Runtime

1. Go to "Add Remove Programs"
       START --> CONTROL PANEL --> ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS
       or, START --> SETTINGS --> CONTROL PANEL --> ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS
2. If there are multiple versions of Java Runtime (JRE) or the version installed is prior to version 6 (sometimes labled 1.6)
   
   • Remove all JRE versions (Highlight the corresponding program and click REMOVE)
   (Usually they start with J2SE or Java... Example: "Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 6")
   
3. Once all the JRE programs are removed exit "ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS" and close all windows, browsers
4. Restart the machine
5. After restarting open internet explorer
6. Go to http://sun.com/getjava
7. Click the 'Free Java Download' button and follow their instructions to install version 6 of the JRE
8. Restart the machine again
9. The next time an image is viewed or printed, a dialog may appear requsesting approval to run the new applet code
   
   Click 'Yes' or 'Always' to run the Java viewer
